CHS Knights Winter Guard 2025
What is Winter Guard?
Winter Guard is the offseason of color guard and is derived from the same place. Color Guard is derived from the military and is performed with a marching band. In this sport, we perform indoors on a mat while utilizing flags, rifles, sabres, and various dance styles and performing to recorded music on a mat. We compete through SAPA or the Southern Association for Performing Arts, under the division of Scholastic Regional A. We compete at 3-5 local competitions and the SAPA Championships in Chattanooga, TN. Additionally, you don't need any experience, we will teach you everything you need to know! If you have dedication and want to be a part of a fun community, then Winter Guard is for you!
